HELPFUL TIPS FOR HOMEOWNERS· You must separate limbs from any other debris. We do not pick-up vines, root-balls grass clippings, willow branches, plants, corn stalks any construction lumber, they clog up the chipper and delays us to get to your neighbors.· Limbs cannot be more than four (4) inches in diameter and no longer than six (6) feet long. Small branches less than two (2) feet long and one (1) inch in diameter is considered yard waste and can be disposed of in your normal trash pick-up· Lay your branches with the cut end in the same direction along the curb· Do not place your limbs in the street. Town Ordinance Sec. 70-35 (d) states “No lawn/garden waste shall be deposited upon or disposed upon or disposed of by any resident on the town’s property, streets, or driveways within the town”· Do not place any limbs near your mailbox or any parked cars, we are not responsible for any damage· We do not pick-up yard waste (Plants, corn stalks, vines, brush or willow limbs) only limbs. Large limbs and yard waste can be brought to the PORTER COUNTY RECYCLING & WASTE REDUCTION Boone Grove Compost Site. Located at 546 South 400 West. They also accept grass clippings.
